Our classes are carefully designed from learning to handle the weight of the motorcycle to learning how to cruise in the Himalayan roads. 

Whether you’re a complete beginner, switching from a scooter, or returning to biking after years—RIDE offers one-on-one geared bike lessons across Chennai. Our classes are ideal for scooter riders transitioning to motorcycles too. We teach you how to ride a geared bike safely in traffic and provide doorstep training using real motorcycles, teach clutch control, balance, and road confidence.

RIDE offers private geared bike coaching in Chennai with doorstep service. Perfect for beginners, women, or adults starting from scratch. We offer a Free Demo Class to better understand compatibility, better suited vehicle and your existing riding capabilities. Each class will run to a minimum of One hour and Maximum of One Hour and Thirty Minutes depending upon the requirement.

COST

1. BASIC TRAINING – 750/- INR Per Class (Including Bike, Petrol and Gears)
2. INTERMEDIATE TRAINING – 1500/- INR Per Class
3. ADVANCED TRAINING – Cost of Petrol for Instructor’s Bike.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Existing DL
2. Being available for two classes minimum per week.
3. Prior experience in riding scooters.
4. LLR, if DL is not available. We will help you to acquire a DL.
5. Residence within Chennai City Limits.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
MADHAV has extensively travelled around India and South-East Asian Countries. He has scaled UMLING LA (Highest Motorable Road in the World) in 2019 and 2024. He designed this Instruction Module with a view to impart complete knowledge of Motorcycle’s Functioning and Technical Knowhow to the Learner.

  • Can women join RIDE’s bike training program?
    Ans: Our Bike classes are designed for all genders and all ages groups. Every specific class has been carefully curated to customize and to suit needs of each learner. 

  • Do I need a learner’s license before starting?
    Ans: For Basic Classes you would not need a Learner’s Licence. Although once you complete the basic course, we would advise you to proceed and acquire LLR from your nearest driving school.

  • Is it safe to learn on main roads as a beginner?
    Ans: We mostly teach our classes in residential areas in non peak hours. We believe that only if you learn in familiar roads, you will get the hang of bike riding more easily. Riding in a playground, going in circles will not help finetune road riding skills.
