With a growth boom for adventure enthusiasts and tourists in the country, we believe that the demand for Adventure Tours will also boom. But the current demand is overgrown without proper supply and we would like to take the first step towards promoting the Riding venture that will mitigate the exceeding carrying capacity in each destination and also to popularize new destinations.
About RIDE
Ride is an Independent Motorcycling Community with focus towards popularizing unexplored destinations and responsible riding. We at ride believe in redefining motorcycle tours to suit riders of all categories. If ride is worth a thousand words, then let us create a story worth writing.
We have been conducting tours across the country for five years now. Since 2014, we have focussed on offbeat destinations like Rann of Kutch, Punjab, Tirthan Valley, Kinnaur, Eastern Uttarakhand, Southern Rajasthan and many offbeat destinations in North East India.
We had formally established RIDE in May 2018. We are looking to expand our stronghold towards International Destinations. We have registered ourselves under MSME as a partnership firm.

USP
We focus on these major USPs. The Motorcycle Groups in the country that are prevalent focus towards taking more tourists to famous destinations thereby exceeding the carrying capacity of the place as well as more focused towards money making, whereas Ride concept entirely contradicts these aspects.

How we stand out of the competition
With our USPs, we clearly differentiate ourselves with regular Tour Operator. We can challenge other Tour Operator to replicate our methods, which will be a difficult task.
Involving Local Vendors
We try resource our services from local vendors in each base city. This helps us to maintain continued local support as well as to avert any issues that might arise locally and that might hamper the tour. We also try to connect the riders with these vendors for solo tours thereby retaining quality services and long term relationship.
Team Ride
Team Ride comprises of four partners from three South Indian States, viz, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. This makes our team a team of polyglots. Our Team is fluent in the following languages

We have contacts established in all the major cities in the country with which we can operate Tours efficiently. We focus on customer experience rather than conducting mechanised petrol wasting tours across highways that are already flooded with Tourist Traffic and Local Commuters.
We also have professionals who have completed the WFR course conducted by NOLS, Lander Wyoming. We believe that it is important to ensure safety in aspects of adventure tourism. We have been conducting tours to destinations across India without a single incident.
The Team is certified by the Ministry of Tourism as Tourism Professionals in the field of Tourism Management in the year 2015 and 2016. We have travelled to various parts of the country and have carefully studied the culture and extrapolated uniqueness in each of the destinations that shaped up the entire concept of placeunheardof

USPs and Challenges to Other Operators
#placeunheardof – Offbeat Destinations are constantly been explored and extrapolated by every Tour Operator in the country. We at Ride, never disclose our offbeat destinations in the Itinerary. We offer this place as a surprise package to the customers. Moreover, We try to offer different offbeat destinations to different Tour groups. (Eg. If we are conducting 10 Tours to Ladakh, We would be covering 10 different Offbeat Destinations for the Tour Group and one offbeat destination will not be repeated in the other tours). We are the only Tour Operator to take Riders inside Great Rann of Kutch (Dhordo Region) during the season of Dec 2018 – Jan 2019. No other operator or individual rider has completed this feat during the mentioned tenure.
Challenge for Other Operators – Unearthing new destinations and arranging logistics for one offbeat destination itself is a huge task for Tour Operators, let alone 10 different Offbeat Destinations.
#hatecrowds – Many Tour Operators operate Tours only after a minimum number of Riders enrol in the Tour. (Eg. 10 Riders). Huge Rider Groups not only spoil the ecology of the destination but they also don’t find themselves unique as they travel in a big group. Riding in a small group gives a feeling of oneness and solace to the Riders which are the Prominent Factors for conducting or enrolling in a Ride.
Challenge for other Operators: Profit Making in a small group is a daunting task, as overheads are high in Motorcycle Tours.
#bordertourism – Ride tries to provide Mandatory Border Visit during its Tours. This is applicable for all the regions that may have an International Border. And, Border Visit doesn’t mean just Wagah Border. Infact, with respect to the hashtag of #hatecrowds, we don’t conduct tours to Wagah Border at all. There are many other Border Destinations to visit in the country. We have covered Vighakot, Munnabhao, Tanot, Longewala, Suchetgarh, Fazilka, Ferozpur, Hindumalkot, Kibithoo, Bumla, Zemithang, Tripoint, Moreh, Katao, Sumdo, Chushul and the list is never ending.
Challenge for other Operators: Tour Operators/Travel Agents cannot conduct Tours to Border areas even with special permits. This restriction is not applicable to RIDE. We cannot provide more information under this hashtag due to secrecy related circumstances.
#shortrides – Even to destinations like Ladakh, Spiti or Rajasthan, We conduct short rides. This is specifically designed to suit riders who can’t manage long leaves.
Challenge for Other Operators: Conducting short rides is not a profitable venture for Tour Operators. Since Logistics involved in the rides to Ladakh or Rajasthan for example are high, short riders will only result in peanut sized turnover with heavy overhead costs.
#transparentcosting – Ride, in our itinerary will reveal the cost involved in each segment of the Tour Package along with the details involving cost for operating the tour. This initiative has largely been accepted by riders as they are presented with no hidden costs and can compare the cost mentioned in the package with the cost available in the market. This will ensure long lasting trust between the rider and the operator.
Challenge for Other Operators: No Operator has openly disclosed their tour package cost with details in any of their packages till now. It has always been Total cost. By revealing the actual breakup cost of the package to the riders/tourists, the disadvantage of earning extra commission or markup in each segment is lost.
#curate – If the rider group is a close knit group of friends/acquaintances, and they wish to alter the Tour Itinerary during an ongoing tour, we let them. We make sure that all the Riders’ dream destinations as covered in a Ride. There may be millions of Riders out there, but an Individual Rider doesn’t get to ride that often due to his/commitments.
Challenge for Other Operators: Tour Operators finalise on Hotel Bookings and Circuits well in advance and they pay lock in advance to the vendors to finalise the Hotel booking/ Permits and other related costs during the Tour. Therefore, changing the circuit and itinerary at the last moment is practically impossible for them.
Practical example of how our product or service works
- We design and sell tour package like the rest of the Motorcycle Groups. We do not push to sell, but we try to portray the USPs as clearly as possible. We don’t believe in the concept of selling. We are marketers and we are focused more towards branding our product and positioning it in a niche unbeatable segment rather than relying on pure numbers and turnovers.
- Seasonal Tours are given focus as promoting through already existing tour platform will be an easy endeavor.
- If a rider group of 5-7 is interested in a destination, we design a separate tour package for them and accompany them during the entire tour so that the ride is hassle free
- Free advice is given along with sharing of our network details with clients/customers who call us. We are not money minded but want everyone to enjoy and experience what we had experienced.
