DAY WISE ITINERARY

Day 0 & 1 (Home City to New Delhi and Bus transfer to Manali)
Flight from your home city to Delhi and Bus from Delhi to Manali. Manali is the Start Point for the RIDE as Motorcycle Rentals are available at good rates and it functions as a mid point between Kinnaur and Spiti
Day 2 – Manali to Sarahan (Via Jalori Pass and Tirthan Valley)
Official Ride start Day. 200KMS via Tirthan Valley, Great Himalayan National Park and the famed slippery Jalori Pass. Today we will cross the Kullu District and enter the Shimla domain. Sarahan is known for its Bhima Kali Temple.
Day 3: Sarahan to Kalpa. (100 KMS)
Kinnaur roads are considered as the most treacherous roads of the country. We will hire adventure tourer motorcycle to ensure a smooth ride from Shimla district to Kinnaur district. Kinnaur is one of the most remotest places in India. And as such, the beauty is perfectly preserved. The cave type roads and the tall Himalayan mountains that we often see in pictures are from Kinnaur. We will try to cover the village of Ribba today.
Stay: Kalpa

Day 4: Kalpa to Chitkul via Sangla and back to Kalpa (140Kms)
Chitkul, considered as the last village in this road head is infamous for its landslides and the recent news where a bridge caved. We will cross the beautiful Sangla in the Baspa Valley. There are multiple trek spots from Chitkul. We will head back to our rest stop in Kalpa/Peo Today.
Day 5: Kalpa to Tabo via Nako (170KMS)
A Tiny Lake, a 100 year old Monastery, Confluence of Spiti and Sutlej Rivers and the Border areas of Kaurik and Sugar Point. These are the highlights of today. We will cross over from Kinnaur to Lahaul and Spiti District today. Watch out for the change in landscape from lush greenery to barren lands.
Seabuckthorns everywhere on the road sides and a stark similarity to that of Ladakh Terrain perfectly describes Spiti as the Middle land between India and Tibet!

CHANGE OVER FROM KINNAUR TO SPITI VALLEY

Day 6: Tabo to Kaza (50KMS)
Although, seemingly a short distance ride, we need this breather as we have been riding 150+ Kms for the past few days. We got Dhankar Lake trek and monastery visit today. And we will probably cover Tabo Monastery today morning. We will also stop over to explore the caves of monks of Tabo.
Day 7: Kaza to Hikkim, Langza and Komic (60KMS)
Day of High places.
Hikkim – The Highest Post Office
Komic – The Highest Village
Kaza – The Highest Petrol Pump
Langza – A Large Buddha Statue
We got all the time today to explore the Spiti Valley’s most prominent Places

Day 8: Kaza to Kye, Kibber, Chicham and Losar (70Kms)
This is the second important circuit in the Spiti Valley. Covering the Asia’s Highest suspension bridge in Kibber – Chicham route. We will stay at Losar today so that we get a head start for tomo’s Chandrataal Expedition. Petrol pumps end here. We will have to carry extra fuel and this route is known for its notoriety of punctured tyres. We will have to be extra careful while riding today!
Day 9: Losar to Chandrataal and then to Manali via Atal Tunnel (180Kms)
Can we make it? We don’t encourage pit stops in Chandrataal owing to environmental concerns. There are high chances that Chandrataal might be closed due to snow. But we will try to visit Chandrataal before heading for a hard ride back to Manali via the Kunzum La and Atal Tunnel.
Before Atal Tunnel, this stretch wasn’t possible in a day.
Day 10: Manali to Delhi
Morning/Afternoon Bus to Delhi. Fly out of Delhi to Home City on Day 11. We have good spas in Manali which can relax your muscles before you board the bus. After all, the entire expedition was back breaking. We have Vashisht Kund hot springs in Manali that will alleviate your muscles sores too!

Things to Note:
1. Kinnaur and Spiti are extreme high altitude places. Proper physical activity before the expedition is a must.
2. The route encounters heavy landslides often and everyday too. The plan is designed in such a way that those hindrances are accounted for. If a route is blocked due to Landslide, there might be a chance of us cutting short the plan by few places to stay ahead of time.
