THE SPITI EXPERIENCE
The only route to enter Spiti is via Road. And the most accessible one is through Manali, Atal Tunnel and through the Lahaul Valley. The other route is through Kinnaur via Sumdo and Nako.
Spiti receives heavy snowfall during winters. And therefore, the roads remain covered in snow for at least six months. There is a saying that goes “Everyday, there is a landslide in Spiti”. Road routes are mostly obstructed with huge boulders that create landslides almost everyday in Spiti. Braving all the odds, our Spiti Experience will take you through some rugged terrains of the middle land between Tibet and India.
*Please note that Spiti is a high altitude destination. Please take extreme precautions for AMS.
